Sterile Soft Contact Lens

Intended Use
Eyesight Correction. 

Schedule for Daily Wear / Recommended Replacement Schedule: 

1. The lenses are meant for daily wear.
2. Always discard lenses worn on a frequent replacement schedule after the recommended wearing schedule by your Eye Care Practitioners.
3. Never wear your lenses beyond the period recommended by your Eye Care Practitioners.

Before Use

To prevent infection, please take precautions as follow:

1. Check the expired date of the lens before buying.
2. Do not use if the sterile package is opened or damaged.
3. Use recommended intensive cleaner to wash lens.

Lens Application

1. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and dry them with a lint free towel. Rinse the lens thoroughly with multi-purpose solution.
2. Place the lens on the tip of your index finger. Make sure the lens is in a bowl shape and correctly oriented.
   
3. Hold the upper eyelid firmly with one finger of the other hand. (Fig 1)
4. While holding down the lower eyelid with one finger of your applying hand, carefully place contact lens on your cornea.  (Fig 2)
5. Slowly release upper eyelid, gently close eye to let the lens set in place.  Repeat same procedure for the other eye.  (Fig 3)

Lens Removal

1. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and dry with a lint free towel. Check the lens position on cornea.
2. Hold down lower eyelid with middle finger.
3. Use forefinger to slide lens to lower part of eye.
4. Gently pinch the bottom edge of the lens with the pad of index finger and thumb to remove lens.
5. Repeat the same procedure for the other eye.

Daily Cleaning and Care Regimen

1. After removing the lens from the eye, place it on the palm of your hand and apply a few drops of multi-purpose solution onto the lens.
2. Rub the lens gently with your index finger against the palm for about 20 seconds on both sides.
3. Rinse the lens thoroughly with multi-purpose solution.
4. Soak the clean lens in the case with multi-purpose solution for next use.
5. Never rinse lens with tap water.

Contraindications / Warnings / Precautions

1. Do not use the contact lens if any of the following conditions exist:
   a) Eye disease, injury or abnormality that affects the cornea, conjunctiva, or eyelid.
   b) Any active corneal infection (bacterial, fungal, protozoal or viral).
   c) Eye red or irritated.
2. Proper use and care of contact lens and lens care products, including lens cases, are essential for the safe use of these products.
3. If you experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision blur, redness of the eye or other problems, you should remove your lens immediately and contact your Eye Care Practitioner.
4. Always keep your lens immersed in a recommended storage solution when lenses are not being worn (stored).  Prolonged periods of drying will reduce the ability of the lens surface to return to a moist state.
5. Ask your Eye Care Practitioner about wearing lenses during sporting activities.
6. Put on lenses before putting on makeup.  Do not get cosmetics, lotions, soaps, creams, deodorants, or sprays in eyes or lenses.
7. Do not share contact lenses with others.

Cadangan Jadual Penggantian untuk Pakai Harian: 

1. Kanta lekap ini adalah pemakaian untuk harian.
2. Sentiasa tukar kanta lekap yang dipakai mengikut jadual penggantian kerap yang disarankan oleh pengamal penjagaan mata anda.
3. Jangan memakai kanta lekap anda melebihi tempoh yang disyorkan oleh pengamal penjagaan mata anda. 
   

Sebelum Dipakaikan
Untuk mengelakkan jangkitan, sila mengikut langkah-langkah seperti berikut:

1. Semakan tarikh luput kanta lekap tersebut sebelum membeli.
2. Jangan gunakan jika pakej steril dibuka atau rosak.
3. Guna larutan serbaguna pencuci yang dicadangkan untuk mencuci kanta lekap anda.
   

Cara-Cara Memakai Kanta Lekap

1. Basuh tangan sehingga bersih dengan sabun dan keringkan dengan tuala kering yang bersih.  Bilas kanta lekap dengan larutan khas pencuci.
2. Letak kanta lekap diatas jari telunjuk anda, pastikan ianya dalam bentuk mangkuk dan berorientasi dengan betul.
3. Tarik kelopak mata ke atas dengan jari sebelah tangan (Rajah 1)
4. Tarik kelopak bawah mata anda dengan jari tengah tangan yang memegang kanta lekap, meletakkan kanta lekap atas kornea anda dengan berhati-hati. (Rajah 2)
5. Lepaskan kelopak mata atas anda dan tutup kelopak mata anda dengan perlahan-lahan.  Ulangi cara-cara 1-4 pada mata sebelah. (Rajah 3)
   

Mengeluarkan Kanta Lekap

1. Basuh tangan sehingga bersih dengan sabun dan keringkan dengan tuala kering yang bersih.
2. Semak kedudukan kanta pada kornea.
3. Tarik kelopak bawah anda dengan jari tangan tengah.
4. Menggunakan jari telunjuk untuk menggerak kanta lekap kebahagian bawah mata.
5. Pinch tepi kanta lekap dengan jari telunjuk dan ibu jari untuk mengeluarkan kanta.
6. Ulangi langkah 1-5 pada mata sebelah.

Pembersihan Harian dan Regimen Penjagaan

1. Selepas menanggalkan kanta lekap dari mata, letakkan kanta lekap di tapak tangan anda dan gunakan beberapa titik larutan serbaguna pencuci untuk mencuci kanta lekap anda.
2. Gosok kanta lekap perlahan-lahan dengan jari telunjuk sekira-kira 20 saat pada kedua-dua belah.
3. Basuh kanta lekap anda dengan larutan serbaguna pencuci.
4. Rendam kanta lekap dalam penyimpan dengan larutan serbaguna pencuci.
5. Jangan bilas kanta lekap dengan air paip.

Kontraindikasi, Amaran, Langkah Berjaga-jaga

1. Jangan gunakan kanta lekap jika wujud keadaan seperti berikut: 
   a) Penyakit mata, kecederaan atau keabnormalan yang membabitkan kornea, conjunctiva, atau kelopak mata. 
   b) Sebarang jangkitan kornea (bakteria, kulat, protozoal atau virus)
   c) Mata merah atau tidak selesa.
2. Penggunaan dan penjagaan kanta lekap, termasuk larutan serbaguna pencuci dan penyimpan kanta lekap, dengan cara yang betul adalah amat penting.  
3. Jika anda mengalami ketidakselesaan mata, air mata berlebihan, penglihatan kabur, kemerahan mata atau masalah lain, anda perlu keluarkan kanta lekap anda dengan serta-merta dan hubungi pengamal penjagaan mata anda.
4. Sentiasa pastikan kanta lekap anda rendam dalam larutan serbaguna pencuci yang disyorkan semasa kanta lekap tidak dipakai.  Kanta lekap yang terdedah dalam keadaan kering yang lama akan menjejaskan keupayaan kanta lekap kembali kepada keadaan lembap.
5. Rujuk kepada pengamal penjagaan mata anda tentang pemakaian kanta lekap semasa aktiviti sukan.
6. Pakai kanta lekap sebelum bersolek.  Jangan biarkan kosmetik, losyen, sabun, krim, deodoran atau semburan ke mata atau kanta lekap.
7. Jangan kongsi kanta lekap anda dengan orang lain.
